Reporting to the Commercial Director
Location Rugby. Hybrid working so must be able to commute to Head Office for regular meetings.
Salary £60,000 – £70,000 plus Car allowance and benefits.
This role is carrying out Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Proposals & Estimating for the UK of Automation equipment. Engineering back ground with Controls, Software and Programming
Back ground essential sectors include :
Industrial Automation, Automation Manufacturing. Exposure to automation within Palletizing, Packaging, Logistics, Automotive Applications, Arc Welding, Robotics, Machine Tending, Press to Press.
Within Automotive / Electronics / Manufacturing / Logistics / Production/ Plastics / Packaging / Pharmaceutical / Aerospace / Food and Beverage industries as examples.
About the job
Support the Regional / Country Sales, Marketing and Proposal and Estimating organization in developing and growing Sales of the whole automation market, consistently with strategies and goals, by:
Contributing specific company knowledge and expertise to Regional Sales Account activity to ensure the achievement of the country and regional sales and operational targets;
Co-assessing the Regional / Country Account Manager ;
Guide the Proposal and Estimation organization improving our technical and commercial offering ensuring a perfect coordination among the country regional and cross functional teams;
Representing the Central organization interfacing BU Marketing, Proposals, Product Development, Customer Care departments to ensure an efficient and effective Customer delivery and management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Defines country and regional Sales Targets for the relevant departments and shares them with the Regional Head of Sales and Country Manager in terms of volume and margin.
Support Regional / Country sales organization in achieving the Sales and operational Targets at regional level and the customer level;
Support Regional to prospect for new business;
Has responsibility for achieving the profitability target the company in the region by setting the minimum level of profitability for each project in cooperation with Regional Sales Account;
Work together with Regional assisting them in managing Customer relationship by activating the BU Organization at regional and central level (Customer Care, …..) contributing technical knowledge and solutions.
Feed future buying trends back to business unit and Business Leader , advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions;
Attend team Regional / Country Order Acquisition Meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
Work closely with his/her Business Unit Sales Planning and Operations in portfolio planning management.
Is the link between the regional / country sales organization and the global Business Unit proposal dept to ensure consistency in terms of content, technical feasibility, proposed timing with workload
